Before leaving overseas on another Bonnie Prince Billy tour, Angel was able to make some recordings and send them our way ("for your ears only," she said). These will most likely be the songs for her new album. Recorded directly onto cassette, the tracks are rough in quality - some are muffled dives from across the room, while others are heavenly clipped. They are perfect. Again, hairs are left standing on the back of the neck…

Later this year, these songs will be properly re-recorded for a new solo album. And maybe we'll make some ultra-special limited dubbings of this here cassette. Maybe.
